Congratulations, Global Leaders Scholar!

Now that you have been awarded a Global Leaders Scholarship, UCCD will work closely with you to identify a travel event you will be attending.

Before You Begin Your Journey

1. Turn in your acceptance letter, bio, and photo.
2. Work with UCCD to confirm the global leadership event you will attend - due to COVID-19, events are undetermined at this time.
3. Once confirmed for an event, work with UCCD to arrange travel details.
4. Research, research, research your event! This is a chance of a lifetime, so be prepared to identify what you want to gain from this experience. (This will help you complete your report upon return.)

During Your Time Traveling

Take lots of pictures and studious notes!

After Your Return

1. Pat yourself on the back - you are officially a Global Leaders Scholar Alum!
2. Begin to reflect on your experience. Feel free to use the Travel Experience Review worksheet [LINK] to help formulate your answers.
3. Update your resume with this award and experience. (Hint: Using the Travel Experience Review Worksheet will help you identify keywords to include on your resume.)
4. Work with UCCD to complete your report and storytelling project.
5. Save The Date – Join us each August 12, as we launch the next scholarship application recruitment.  We want to recognize our alumni!
