Letter from the Director in March 2021

Dear Friends of UCCD:

With a new year and new hopes, we have launched our new website and branding!  You might notice a few new elements, like our branding colors.  The variations of red, white, and blue have ocean-themed names like navy, aqua, and buoy. They represent the idea that UCCD connects people, often across oceans, with its flagship international exchange programs. These colors are often coupled with wavy lines, hinting at an evolving world in which our actions progress along a path of peace and understanding.  

But we kept some branding elements the same, like our logo icon of two people shaking hands on a bridge. We often build bridges through Citizen Diplomacy - the concept that every individual helps shape foreign relations "one handshake at a time."

Please take a minute to check out our new website and branding.  Don't forget to check out the many opportunities to get involved, like our Academic WorldQuest competition for high school students and adults, our World Affairs Lecture Series, and our international exchange programs.
