Our favorite part of Utah Global Diplomacy's programming is the community that it builds. We gather at Westminster College for our World Affairs Lecture Series. We host Great Decision discussions at the University of Utah. We engage with our local businesses, nonprofits, and leaders through our international exchange programs. We connect Utah to the world and the world to Utah through our Taste of Home Hospitality dinners. Not only does community engagement create more vibrant and diverse discussions, but it also leads to new friendships, strategic business relationships, and creative community collaborations.
While the bad news is we are living in a stressful and unnerving time of COVID-19 that makes it difficult to connect as a community, the good news is we don't have to put global engagement on hold. The internet offers us endless, free content for expanding our knowledge and understanding of the world.
