Obaid Barakzai

Born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, Obaid Barakzai left home at a young age to travel the world and pursue education as a vehicle for success only to find his new home in Utah. He is fluent in seven languages, an aspiring international political economist, and a first-generation and Honors student at Westminster. Obaid has spoken multiple times at the United Nations and Harvard University on global citizenship, leadership, and conflict resolution. When he is not out there making the world a better place, he is making tea from his collection of 163 different brews.
